Maine Gambling Control Unit


The State of Maine Gambling Control Unit is a bureau within the Department of Public Safety. This Unit provides support to a five-member Gambling Control Board appointed by the Governor. The Board is charged with the regulation, supervision and general control over the ownership and operations of slot machine and table games in casinos and the operation of advance deposit wagering in the state.
